Yeah, Coca Cola didn't invent Santa Clause per se, but the current look he has- Big guy dressed all in red, with big white beard and glimmer in his eyes- Thats invented by Coca cola.
It's a Spanish saint in originality, introduced to much of europe through port-cities. In germany I think he lost his little helper (santa's little helper is originally a black slave that carries his bag, if the kids where nice, they'd get a toy from the sack, if they'd been rascals they would get taken by the black slave and put in the sack).
Scandinavia was spared the whole Santa Clause sentiment... we had our own version- the Gnome. Who was "Clausified" and turned from a five inch helper that only got fed once a year into a mansized creature that brought food and goodies in the middle of winter... more or less completely the same as in the rest f the world nowadays anyway...
Looks good, i thought the bag he is carrying was a big rock to begin with though, i think if it was tapering the other way it would be more believeable as a sack. but overall really great
